I'm starting to wonder what this puppy is going to weigh. I may have to break out the suspenders to keep my pants up with this in my pocket.

Oh phew, was about to freak if I wasn't on the contact info. list :D :D

I might have missed it, but what kind of finish with the Ti sides get? O_O and still dying to see what kind of grinds you put on this.. hoping a convex tip w/ hollow main grind, perhaps?? :D oh and sharp as hell.. makes you bleed when you look at it type of sharp!

You're doing a great job on this knife.. watching with both eyes wide open :)

Please add me to the list of folks interested. Assuming the price is right I'm in! Forgive me for not reading every single post in this thread but what will be your warranty policy? It scares me to spend what i presume would be a pretty penny on such a specialized piece if it's not "backed".

Thanks,
Redhat

Lifetime warranty. I will cover everything short of daily wear damage and destruction tests. To put it bluntly if you buy this knife it will last several lifetimes if cared for properly.

Thank you for your response. Very impressive! Please place me on the list if there is room.

For the finished slabs I'm thinking brushed to 400-600 grit with an option for a flame anodizing.

For the blade a medium distal taper full flat grind. I may experiment with a clip bevel but i definitely will NOT make it a sharpened clip point. I want as much mass on the tip of the blade as possible.

For the edge I use an Edge Pro Apex with Japanese chosera stones. I can go all the way to a 10,000 grit mirror polish edge if you want.

William do you have any pictures of other knives you have made. Im not sure I have seen them before.

Thanks Brett

does "normal daily wear damage" include the ti frame lock wearing out or are you like crk where you will fix that *****

I plan on having an "early" lock up with the mating surfaces of the lock bar. Remember this is .190 Grade5 Ti and you have a TON of contact area. That should insure solid lock up for many years HOWEVER if for some reason a knife is having lockup issues I will take care of you.

This knife is really cool, i love tHe bearings. When do we see a grind? Im liking it.

And friendly challenge accepted.....id like your permission to post pics in this thread. Or i can start another one that you and i can both post in?...let me know.

My monster will be in a different style, but massive none the less.....!

ShazaMM!!

This knife is sounding and looking better all the time. Have you considered milling a pattern or grooves in the titanium slabs to add some texture/grip?
