I was also surprised by the prices too. Happy we didn't try for the same one. We both scored some great steel for sure.

I had 2 Camillus BK7s and a sterile BK2 until tragedy struck!!! Oh, wait a minute, that was just a thief..

Seriously though, I love what you did exposing the grind lines. I think I'll do that to my Ka-Bar BK7. Thanks for the idea brother!!!

This one was pretty well scratched up when I got it. I was going strip it but liked how it looked there so I stopped...for now...
 
Well it was a great Easter. Wonderful afternoon weather - Had a great steak for lunch with the family - used my BK15 of course. Got home and found a NIB Cam BK9 for sale and could not resist. March was a good month for my BK&T collection.
 
Well, I went and added 6 more BKs. I had to be one of the first people to order the BK20 on Monday morning after receiving the email, but just went with free shipping so the box has yet to arrive.

Well it appears that I decided in my sleep that I needed another. I do not remember ordering the 2nd group at all. Apparently I used my phone to order at 3:24am another set. Must have had a nightmare about only having one and ordered another in my sleep. The odd thing was that earlier in the day I was not able to access my Ka-Bar account on my phone, but was able to do it half asleep. So I guess I must have gotten one of the last ones too.

This addiction is getting bad and slightly out of control if I am "sleep buying".
 
"sleep buying"... Hmmm... Maybe I can use that as my excuse when the package arrives...
 
Hahaha, I don't have that problem, the wife use to be working when the packages arrive.[emoji41] that's why I own that many...

I was convinced it was an error, but the email, bank transaction and phone history details all match in time so it was a legitimate transaction.

I am blaming BF being offline to "temporary insanity" resulting in a sleeping abnormality. I was unable to justify the second one to my "awake" self, but apparently my "sleep" self was easier to persuade. I remember one of the last things I read were that only like 15 were left and thinking that the likelihood of receiving mine before they were gone was slim. I almost made the purchase then, but decided not to; or so I thought.
 
Got my first box from Ka-Bar just a few minutes ago. As everyone has mentioned, this blade is sweet. No regrets at all - heck, I think I might need a 3rd. Thank you Mr. Becker and Ka-Bar for another great piece of steel.
 
Only made it one day into May before adding another BK&T - found a NIB stamped BK7.

Even though I was put off by a YouTuber on the BK7, handling my Cam BK7 for the first time made me open up to the blade.
 
All good there John , had a 7 long before you know who . I hang that blade on my belt a lot when in the woods . Not to scary to others when you run across them and can do . Dude if you go for a third , you already won addict of the years in my book . I had to go for second 20 just cause , but if I was to go for a third my wife will have me committed for sure .

After getting the Cam BK7, it was easy to understand why it is a great blade. The size does seem less intimidating than the BK9 from an on-looker point of view. I will definitely be getting a user BK7 soon.

Addict for sure, but slightly in denial about it being a "problem". Few vices and being single helps make buying a little easier when hitting the buy button.

As for going for a 3rd BK20, it only depends on my inability to control my obsession (or addiction if you like). Every time I use my BK2, BK4 or BK15 (my 3 most used blades), I find new justification for adding more BK&T blades to the collection. The fact that Mr. Becker finds time to enlighten us on a daily basis only makes saying " yes" easier. Throw in the fact that the customer service at Ka-Bar is incredible, I find myself unable to find a reason to say "No".
 
I am not doing well in resisting BK&Ts this year. Just snag a NIB Cam BK4 to add my collection. Kinda of glad I held off buying the 3rd BK20..... for now.

Thank you Sir. The Camillus versions are nice and I look forward to adding this one to my collection.

It is funny how things turn out. I gave my brother a new BK4 for his 4th wedding anniversary, so I was down one. Few days later this one popped up, so I broke even in the BK&T blade count which now stands at 24. And I know there is at least one new Becker fan - my brother was definitely impressed with the BK4 from the moment the box opened.
 
Despite all attempts to avoid this model, I added a BK7 to my users group. Handling the Cam BK7 for the first time it became apparent why this model was well regarded. The stamped version only solidify the likelihood that this day would come.
 
For anyone low on money id reccomend getting a morakniv with it.. 10 bucks and you arent gonna get much more out of any knife in its size/weight range.. And they cost 10 bucks :D

I have been big fan of Mora knives for some time now and I am sure just about everyone on this forum has a least one. Welcome to the forum.
