Yep - worse than Lay's Potato Chips

The Cam BK5 has arrived.... Perfect timing.

I like the subtle differences - thicker handles, no exposed pommel and about 1/4" longer. The slightly rougher texture on the blade actually looks better than I thought it would.

So here is a quick photo of my first year with the Becker Bug.... Thank you to everyone for the help, advice and camaraderie. Having been here for a year, it is easy to see why BK&T has such a loyal following. You could not ask for a better Leader (Mr. Becker), company (KA-BAR), or group of enthusiasts (including all of BladeForums). I can't wait to see what the next years bring. Hopefully three NIBs - BK6, a Cam BK7 and Cam BK9. I look forward to many more years adding to my collection.

On a side note: Kudos to everyone who uploads photos - most are outstanding compared to this one image that took over an hour to achieve. My users are not included - they are in my backpack waiting for the next outing - these are the back-ups and the back-ups for the back-ups; all NIB.

Edit: BK5 on the right is stamped and not etched.

For some reason am not able to see the pic.

It was there when I previewed the post. The URL shows when I try to edit the post. Sorry, will try to correct.

It shows up on my desktop, but not my tablet?

Edit: should be fixed.

Thank you Sir.

It is true for me and it seems like very few people only own 1 BK&T. And most acquire quite a few. I have never bought 13 knives of a single brand in one year and still feel like I need more.

This may be a locked photo. Are you sure it's available for public viewing and not just because you're signed in? I get a blank page when I copy and paste the URL.....

It should be fixed now. Sorry for the delay.

Thank you Sir - I was starting to think I had failed again.

I still can't believe how hard it is to take a decent photo. I now have even more respect for everyone that posts such amazing images on BF - a tip of my hat to all.
The easier way is to use a cellphone and the app (tapatalk) so you are gonna be able to take and edit your pics and post'em anytime.

Well I tried to hold out as long as I could this year, but just added a NIB Cam BK7 to the collection.

Thanks Kentwood33 - congratulations on the BK1. I was eyeing the BK1 too, but decided to go with the BK6 - had it come afterwards, I might have tried for both. Same with the Blackjack - wonder who got it?
