Just wasted a week of time and money shipping to someone just to have them be a douche and send it back!

IF YOU DO NOT TRUST PEOPLE, EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE THE ITEM HEADED TO YOU, AND HAVE ALL THEIR INFO FROM PRIVATE PHONE TO FACEBOOK. STOP TRADING. YOUR NOT A TRADER, YOUR A PERSON THAT WANTS SOMEONE TO BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO MAKE YOU FEEL SAFE. STAY OFF THE TRADE FORUM AND JUST TRADE WITH FRIENDS. YOU ARE NOT A TRADER!

SD, sounds like the guy you dealt with still has his training wheels on. I'd think you should get your item back and at the very least be compensated your cost to ship.

OK, but turn off the CAPS and we'll listen a little closer to what you have to say...

If he sends it right back, and refunds your shipping costs I don't see a whole lot of issue...sometimes people have a change of heart. Yeah it isn't great, but it isn't a huge deal...

There's no way to determine that until the OP tells us, calmly please, what EXACTLY happened, from start to finish. Otherwise...we can keep guessing. lol

He probably had buyer's remorse. People get excited by all the nice knives and in the heat of the moment buy a knife they can't really afford.

But it is not considered Kosher to ask for a return if the knife was accurately represented. Buy from a dealer if you want a return policy. Just my opinion.

No offense intended, but if you are going to start a trade thread with "due to (expletive deleted)", some members may not want to deal with you and even cancel a deal that you already shipped.

I also recall a trade thread of yours where a guy posted a question and you accused him of trolling.
Some folks are really sensitive to that sort of thing.

I call it as I see it....
Not like i'm name dropping and pointing out others faults in posts or anything....oh

Don't SCREAM at us. What's your point? I find your post incomprehensible.

point was this...it was vague on purpose. So it was not singling out anyone. Also to make the people that do such things a little self conscious. If you don't get it, that is a good thing.

I will scream if I want. It was a vent in the complaint department, that was then complained about by others. Only person that got it was Rev. Probably why he is the Moderator.

Agree with you. Trades are gambles and I totally understand someone being uneasy by a trade. Especially if they have been ripped off. But if you are going to be so uneasy about it, maybe you should stop trading is all I was trying to say. It is a gamble and sometimes when you gamble you lose.....All Good

I am assuming it was a trade in which case buying from a dealer is not an option. Unless you sold it to the person as a standard member, maybe he wanted his knife back.

Trading involves a lot of trust on both ends, most people here are trustworthy and even if you've never met them you can trust them. I've known some people for years and I wouldn't loan them $400 but if I sent some guys here, who I really barely know, a $700 knife on a trade I wouldn't think twice about it.

Some people, no matter what you do, will never be happy. Sucks, but it's the truth.

Sorry for you bad experience, at least you never had a knife stolen from you.

All this being said......it's "you're", not "your".

Sorry had to, no one else mentioned it

Trade. Sent mine he wouldnt send his till he got my knife. He had ZERO TRUST because he got burned. Cant blame him but dont trade if you cant handle the risks involved

GRAMMAR NAZI!!!!!
I cant wait for the day when people stop editing comments and posts like we are writing a novel....

I totally agree with you, it was the whole excited about the trade and then I had to ship first because they didn't trust me.( other trades we both shipped at the same time so this should of been my warning.. BUT I----guess I just had to trust them even though they did't trust me. They received my knife and sent it back. It was in a box that they can not leave at my place so im going to have a nice drive across San Diego to pick it up. YYAAAAAAYYY SoCal traffic, but traffic wont be bad since im going to have to take off work.... YAAAAAY more money lost...and I Havent gotmy blade back yet. Far as I know it was stolen.... But that's the risk with trades.....IF YOU CANT HANDLE A LITTLE RISK , DONT TRADE. It is the down side of being a cheap ass, hahahahahahah

Funny thing is that risk is everywhere. Barracade yourself in your house and unplug your computer.

i usually stick to trading with people who have paid memberships. tends to weed out the non serious or "training wheels" situations . doesnt always work but i can count how many bad trade experiences ive had on here on one hand and have been trading for over three years. if your not ready to deal with other people being picky or dealing with the occasional flat tire, dont trade just buy from reputable sources. good luck , i hope you get your blade back and are able to find another good member to trade with.
