Sorry, but had an anal French professor in college for writing. Burned many of writing traits into me
Really?
I'd been drinking

, but nice catch
So related story. I sold a Busse Combat Culti around a year ago, maybe closer to a year and a half. I forget the buyer's name except he was in Ohio. I sold the knife as mint and unused. Shipped the knife, he received it, all was well, for about 2 seconds. Somehow I missed a finishing mark on the micarta scales where it left a nasty "ledge", plus there was some super light scuffs near the tip, hard to see but there.
I work with and on guns for a living so I'm usually good about nit picking stuff hard core, messed up screw heads, blueing/nickel marks, wood flaws, checking dents, etc. but somehow I let that slip. I refunded the buyer on faith he was right (which he was when I received the knife back), and he was more than generous and paid for shipping on the way back to me even though with the flaws he didn't have to.
So anyway, even with a lot of good experiences, there are going to be some bad. Just like regular life. This is our hobby, our passion, some times we win, some times we loose. In the end though, we just have to enjoy it
