Young knife collectors/users - deux

Got another pivot assembly from ZT for my 0566 and upgraded the small washer to the normal sized one. It actually feels a little more smooth but it might be because I re greased the one side of the pivot :p

Finished the handles on my S110V Mule.

I'll be trading the other one away. Should I trade it for a ZT 0200 SW, or a slightly used Spyderco Domino?

The Bark river Bravo 1 is calling my name. I love all the features about it, Escanaba Mi (my Mom grew up there), leather sheath, A-2 (my uncle is a metallurgist and that's his favorite knife steel), beautiful handle option's, my favorite grind, and a great warranty. Mmmmmm

Ok...but you do know what they run $$ wise, right?

I have dreams of a Bravo 2, but at the price of 3 Beckers or 2 Swamp Rats, I'll probably never get one.

I don't think the price is bad at all. Granted, I could buy two beckers for the price of one Bravo but you get better steel, better edge geometry(IMO), better scales, better warranty, better sheath, and they're made in a place I have roots in (kinda like spyderco's for you).

No, I didn't mean that they were overpriced. All I meant was "don't expect Becker pricing."

A while back, there was an awesome collaboration between Falkniven and Bark River. They made a Falkniven S1 with full-tang construction decked out with midnight tiger G10 scales from Bark River. There were only a few--they were priced at $220. I had never spent more than $120 on a knife at that time, and I didn't buy it. Now I regret not having it.

Betcha can't resist this Eli! Muhahahah!!

Bravo 1 or Bravo 1.5. I want a Bravo 2...;)

You thieved that pic from KnivesShipFree, which oddly enough was the place that had the Falkniven/BRK collab.

I know! But it's the scales you need to look at, it's all in the scales, man.
Well, I passed my 2k mark and didn't even notice. I spend way too much time on here...:o

I just hit 1K, I'm strapped and couldn't think up something to PIF, I'll do something when I can though.....

Oh, this is the B1 I'm looking at,

I can save a buck on thE bay but I really don't want the ramp and If I'm paying that much I might as well shuck out the extra $50 and get exactly what I want.

I'm 18. Had to sell off a decent amount of my collection due to college and other hobbies. Should be rebuilding in the summer. Right now I have:

Strider SNG
Emerson Cqc-7
ZT 566
Spyderco Para2
Bench made mini grip
Kershaw rake
Kershaw skyline

Case swayback jack
Case medium stockman.

Incoming:
Gec 72
Production lambert shockwave

Hopefully this summer I'll be adding a seb 21, a wicked edge and some others.

+1, welcome!

Hey SBK, what ever happened to the knife making videos?

"Two Weeks"...

:D (If you don't get it, you don't spend enough time in the Busse forum. ;))

Here are the three parts that actually cover making the knife. The first part about materials and saftey and the last part about testing will come in "two weeks."
