Not a clue, any suggestions?

With a blade that length, you could just put two open rivets about 2 inches apart ( not too close to the back or front) and put a loop of paracord through each (around the sheath, perpendicular to the blade) for horizontal carry. You could also make an integral kydex clip, but believe me that can be a pain to get right.

Gec is great. I think it's good for younger people like us to keep the interest in traditional alive. I bought a Bullnose in canvas micarta, but it was too small for my darn hands. Super nice knife.

I was looking for one in canvas micarta but couldn't find any, only linen micarta. So i think i might just get it in orange. And i agree about keeping traditional knives alive :)

Matty, get one! I've got a Boy's Knife and Madison Barlow, they're incredibly good quality. I don't have any experience with the bullnose, but I do with a sod buster. The pattern is great and with GEC's quality it should be a winner.

If you want a Sodbuster, you can have mine. It's a Case with black delrin and stainless blades but it's pretty darn sharp. Email if you're interested.

They only made 50 canvas. I sold mine in the exchange a couple days ago, too bad you didn't see it. It went to a good guy though. Anyway, the orange looks very cool too.

Feel free to post as many pictures of that Madison Barlow as you like. I'm envious.

It's getting downright balmy here, 15F. While In my holed up state I cut a 2x4 into 12'' sections and proceeded to baton them into thumb-sized pieces.

The result,

What did you use to strip the bk16?

Looks like fun, MM.

You are a master of feather sticks--I'm most certainly not.

It is about 22 degrees out in Boulder.

Thanks! My dad has a shop and he generates a lot of 2x4 scrapes and a just find a piece and start feathering! I do about 5-10 feather sticks per day for the last two years! it takes a lot of practice to get good, I started being able to light them with farro rods July, 2013
