One of my daughters is working from her home during the pandemic disruption and wanted a standing desk. Some black pipe, fittings and a
12' 2"x8" from the big box store and I had a project for my morning. Pretty simple build, worse part was cleaning the pipe and removing all
the pricing and other stickers from all over each piece of pipe. After that it was just cutting, sanding and waxing the boards for a natural look,
then assembly. Here's a pic of it at my shop just before I delivered it to her.View attachment 1323495

I purchased a couple of user sodbusters from a generous porch member and they arrived in the post today. I set to work on the 71 and it came out pretty well. It has a slight recurve because the original owner was teaching sharpening to a beginner who made some mistakes. Still, it's got a lot of life left and is super comfortable now.

That looks awesome. Could you share how you achieved the distressed look

Sorry for the later reply...I used an old piece of pretty thin leather...not sure what size to be honest. But its not the thick stuff like normally is used in sheaths. Then I put some shallow slices in the leather with a knife. And had my wife burn some texture with her woodburning pen, and then literally just crumpled it up in my hands for half hour. Over and over. I like it. :) Always have to experiment. :)

Backpocket in 154cm and camel bone been working on the last few weeks. Pile side pic cause I messed up the pivot on the show side. This was a knife I picked up on the exchange and was my first backpocket. The standard cover and bolster just seem too slim for my liking so got some thick covers on now. Will be a great user.

I finished this one up this week. It’s a Klein tl-29 type. I did a blade delete and put on burgundy, crosscut micarta scales with a white liner. This is my first time putting a liner on a folder.

It came out pretty nice, the only problem is that the blade is so crooked I’ve practically got room for another blade on the opposite end.
