Your favorite cheap knives?

Cold Steel Finn Bear, Condor everything, Buck Paklite Skinner, modified GI Tanto, Buck Lite Max and Daimondback Outfitter, Becker BK11, Mora 840 (mora everything really) and some people do some pretty cool stuff with the Ontario Old Hickory line... Tramontina machetes, RAT1 folder, Kabar Warthog II and Dozier folder series, Columbia River Lightfoot

Lol ok - what gives? Cheap knife thread and after 60some posts, not one mention of Gerber? I kind of like my LST - it's light, low profile, shaving sharp and cost me under $20. What am I missing?

I love my BUCK 375 deuce, for $16 bucks its a very nice little knife.

I'm very impressed my my Mora 510.

Also my Boker Subcom and Kershaw Vapor are great for the money involved.

I recently rediscovered my Kershaw 1740 Ener-G and have been carrying it for the last several days. It's very close to being my ideal EDC blade. Closed length, width, thickness, weight, blade length, grind and shape, steel...all just about perfect for me. I only wish it had a well-placed thumb stud instead of that dang flipper. $25.

As far as inexpensive knives go(<$50),I like Victorinox alox folders & Buck fixed blades.

Face it, there is very little that ANYONE on this board couldn't take care of with a Buck 110 and SAK. That's why both are legends.

Kissing Crane Medium brown mule, been through all sorts of beatings and the pivot just now is starting to loosen a bit and needs some pienning. Currently is my desk knife though, with my opinel No 8 gardener knife having taken its place.

Gotta love the 110

Heck even the 112 is great if you need to act like a girly man.

Portland made Gerber Gators are a great knife for the money too, probably my most used knife since it was my primary knife in scouting for many years.

I paid $26.49 for my Kershaw Leek at Christmas time. My favorite knife for under $30.

For a real cheapie the Ka-Bar Dozier that I got for $10 is a good edc.

For even cheaper, I paid $5 for my CRKT Side Hawg and it's pretty cool.
