Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Got my users in yesterday, a Joker Becada in bone stag and my Jose Da Cruz in carbon steel in yew wood (lighter than the site had) which I got to be simple but nice users. I also got the Joker to compare to my Cudeman in the same style with leave shape blade. I like the Jose because it has a good sized handle.image.jpg

This Pioneer X came in today; I bought it mostly because the Victorinox scissors are good for cutting braid and mono fishing line.

They also great for wild hairs, loose threads ... either of witch might get you strange looks or worse if you attempted to cut the ones belonging to your girlfriend/wife using a knife blade ... fingernails, packages/envelopes, bubble rap ...

All my carried SAK's have scissors. Probably my most used "blade".

Many a time have I trimmed my mustache with the scissors on my old Vic Champ. 😉

Pulled the trigger on a GEC after a very long time. This one probably deserves an award for the palest owl out there. I'm overall quite pleased with it though. Due to the rainy weather in my part of Europe it's hard to take a decent photo, so this will have to do ...

This one areived today from Germany. Boy oh boy, I love it! I wasn't so sure about the handle material, I'm generally not a fan of synthetics and composites, but now that I have it in hand I like it. Should be among the first ones made because it doesn't have the double liner, but there seems to be no blade rub. I guess I better stop now before the feaver gets too strong ... 😅

Delivered yesterday. Checked out the construction - seems to be simple pins drilled out and tapped for torque screws. The knife is solid with no drips, runs, cracks, gaps, etc. with no blade wiggle up, down, sideways, or any other way. The laminated smooth wood covers feel good in the hand. I really like the green coloring in the covers. The S35VN blade is centered and as sharp as blue blazes.

Got the plastic handled carbon Pallares folders, very basic and the small yellow one will be a fifth pocket carry size.

This Crossroads Brown/Green Laminate Wood XR Sod Buster Jr. was delivered by USPS this morning. Case is really paying attention to detail as they're building these knives. No gaps, cracks, drips, runs, or errors of any kind - no under blading/over blading, flush joints, centered blades, super sharp S35VN blades. Great walk and talk with plenty of snap. Couldn't be better.

I've picked up four (two of each for a total of eight) of the XR Crossroads Series knives over the last couple/three weeks. No complaints about any of them.

I think if you haven't picked up one of these knives you're missing out - strictly my thought.

Compelling turn-out, very decent looking but really struck by the light green second from bottom, can't sleep now 🤣:D

Thanks, Will
