Top shelf, Eric!!!

...GT I'm fairly incompetent at 'whittling' slicing up splinter sticks is satisfying enough for be but I do reckon this tiny Puukko would be a grand whittler, in any hand (except mine:D)

Regards, Will
Thanks for your input, Will! Probably the main difference between your and my whittling skills is that you recognize your limitations and I'm too clueless to recognize mine. :D:(:D

Another of the Rough Riders that came in, this week. Just in time to have Queen release their #99. It'll be fun to compare them.
...
I look forward to the comparison, nugun!:thumbup:

Just picked this first production Northwoods indian river jack in the post. Simply amazing and superb fit and finish.
...
Congrats, Tim; that's a magnificent pick-up! :thumbup::thumbup:

My latest acquisition from the exchange  Northwoods Ebony Presidential :D
...
Congrats, Ron; splendid knife and the matching pocket slip is a special treat!:)

I bought this one before going into the hospital. Got to introduce Stew to the rest of the gang. :D

...

I also had this surprise waiting when I got home. Derrick, you're a heck of a guy. :D
...
I was away most of Saturday and Sunday for a niece's wedding, and was elated to return and find out that you had made it home, Bob! I hope each day gets a little bit better for you. Couple of marvelous knives you picked up, congrats!!:cool: Very thoughtful and generous gift, Derrick; here I sit with another BF-induced grin on my face. :D:D

This pair arrived Friday. What is commonly referred to as a "good knife day", to say the least! :D
...
True fact!!:eek: Either one of those knives by itself would make it a GREAT knife day; both on the same day is stupendous!!:D:thumbup:

I got four new ones to show. First is a Canal Street Swell Center I bought from Sketch32. Second is a 72 on black micarta. Third is a Queen camp knife in feathered Buffalo horn. And last is a Northwoods 15 in red saw cut bone. Thanks Derrick for helping me out with this one.

How do you like the "pinchability" of the 72 and Broadway?

I got a 1989 Ka-Bar Humpback Jack in the mail today:

I've never seen this pattern outside of Ka-Bar knives from the '80s (which, given my recent entry into this hobby, doesn't mean much!), and it resonated with me as soon as I saw it. I love the pointed bolsters, the pronounced hump, and the warmth of the jigged bone.

I can't tell this knife is 26 years old -- it looks brand new. It feels great in hand (no hotspot from the hump, my one concern when buying it), and fit and finish are excellent all around.

Case Classic Moose (from Sketch) !!!

The overcast light does a great injustice to this wonderfully luminous Rogers Bone.

Great looking silhouette to the humpback Dadpool, reminds me of a more angular dogleg jack.

The clip on the Case Classic Moose is looks like a beaut SAK Guy. Really crisp points on both of those.

The 72 can be pushed out far enough that a wrist flick will open it. the Broadway doe not need the easy out cut to be pinched. But, it does allow for a better grip on the blade. The easy out also feels good in the hand when using the blade. A nice spot for you finger to fall into.
