Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

This Camillus 710 single-blade peanut came in yesterday, the fruit of a very generous giveaway by Silenthunterstudios (Dan), the Grand High Muckba of the Cult of the Peanut. Sent with the original box and even the paper insert. Thanks, SHS!

Here is a Moki I just picked up next to a TC for size comparison.
The Moki is a bit shorter but a bit thicker than the GEC 15. Solidly built and a bit heavier than I was expecting but I was after a stainless blade for general food prep.I think this model was the "Trad Club" but I don't know anything more other than it is a few years old. First lock back in a while and a super smooth action.

Just got this Lon Humphrey Hunter with beautiful Cocobolo.

The grain was what won me over on this one, looks like a hurricane filmed from space :)

Man is that an apt description! That's the prettiest cocobolo I've ever seen. I love the juxtaposition of the swirling grain with the rough texture of the adjacent portion of the blade, too.

Ha! I had that one in my shopping cart and was soooooooo close to pulling the trigger :) Nice snag sir, that grain is indeed spectacular!

Nice knife... But what really got stuck in my mind was the sheath.

I've seen a couple of that style but none exactly like this. I can't really pin down the details that makes it interesting. It seems deep but still makes it possible to get to the knife in a hurry. Usually the leather on the front side don't ride so high. Mind posting pics with the knife in the sheath?
