Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Just picked this Ohta up from Sketch32 and I like it alot. Very good fit and finish. Nice walk and talk, flush in all three, firm pull at around 7 and beautiful covers. I'm really happy with this one. I'll be carrying it alot.

Rachel Thank you! This is a country with a very small population c 5 million so festivals are by their nature small scale :D Had a fine time though but because the Puukko is the national knife I don't actually pay it a lot of attention in fancy form - a lot get exported naturally enough. I'm really pleased with this small one, something different, Leuku it aint:eek::D:D

GT I'm fairly incompetent at 'whittling' slicing up splinter sticks is satisfying enough for be but I do reckon this tiny Puukko would be a grand whittler, in any hand (except mine:D)

Regards, Will

Another of the Rough Riders that came in, this week. Just in time to have Queen release their #99. It'll be fun to compare them.

Thanks Tim. I never noticed the "slot" opener on those IRJ's, before. That's pretty cool.

Anytime~ It is as I understand it, before the Northwoods of KSF began and were the first run with Dave Shirley with the scagel hole patent he bought. Haven't seen many of these around other than two photos so I'm trying to find out as much as I can as well.

Yup, those are pretty rare now. I would snagged it, but you beat me, haha. Nice grab. I have a NW moose with the slotted openers and stag covers. Really like it.

Aha sorry Eric, I couldn't resist. I really like the slotted pinch opening on the scagels/people are always talking about the equal end indian river jack frame. Please do show it on the forums sometime. Just did a search but can't find a photo.
