Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Just could not find a thread "what's in the post coming to you" so I put this here. I like both wine and beer so this suits me perfectly :D

Beautiful 3 Harry, nice snag on that prototype :) The stag on those two are unreal~

Thanks Tim. I can't understand why people do not snap up the Proto-types. They were all at the same dealer and all but mine were there still last night.

This one also just arrived, a Parker Simmons Hardware Co. Hornet, late '80s to early '90s, made by Olbertz in Solingen Germany, 3½" closed.

Two real stunners!! Great stag and bone. Fantastic!!

Jeff

Your new Hornet is lovely!! Great choice!

Thanks, Gev, it's got a couple spots on it, so no safe queen . . . will see some good pocket time.

SAK, does the farmer have a saw ? Is this one recent production or did it come to you pre-owned ?
Would you mind posting a pic of this green Alox Farmer with blades open sitting next to a Pioneer, blades open ?
thanks, kj

Yes, a Farmer is a Pioneer w/ a saw. This was pre owned from a recent Swiss Bianco run...may be still available new.

Here's two separate pix (I would have to wait till tomorrow to shoot a single comparison pic).

I just received this Diamond Edge 353 stockman. Stainless steel, jigged delrin, matchstrike pull, cut swedge only on mark side.

Does anyone have firm dates on when this model was produced? Looks very much like late '60s to early '70s to me, but can't find the tang stamp in any of the lists I have found. The pile side tang of both secondaries is stamped STAINLESS. Quality is very good, with a domed spring pin, no gaps anywhere, and pulls around 4-5 with good snap. Thanks in advance for any help on the dates.
