Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

this one arrived this week, and I have been busy putting a patina on it, the orange bocote wood, brass and silver nickel and grey black patina (not orange as it appears in the photo) work perfectly together. This knife is completely perfect for my hand too:

Those scales are gorgeous. What are they?

I'm on a serious sheep horn kick lately...

@@LeathermanGX 'exotic mexican bocote' - though it doesn't look like any of the other ones I've seen.

I thought that #48 Bird Knife would be my last for a while but too many popped up that I was looking for... A Queen #51 to add to the collection came a while a go. I also picked up a #73 Jack in Ebony that GEC made in 2012 with left over parts (only 6 made) and some GEC Rendezvous Special #48s.

Well, there you go Trand! Just when you say 'enough', a whole load of compelling knives emerge from the shadows :D:thumbup: Some fine acquisitions there.

No kidding Will. But these are the last for a while!!!

(looking around for some 440C #48 Jacks :))

Thanks Jon. After seeing Will's example I finally took the plunge on one.

Trand, you're killin me smalls! Awesome as usual.

I just got the 294 in today.

After a long wait, customs hoo-hah and the P.O. adding to the shambles...my first Osage Orange showed up. Well worth the wait I think, here with Bone deputy.
