Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Got these two in from Brett as a winner in his Thanksgiving GAW. They are so cool, and right up my alley!

Just got this Wiseman in the mail today. My first Wiseman but definitely not my last! I can already tell this knife is going to spend a lot of time in my pocket.

Good looking little knife.

Gev and Dadpool Thanks for your kind appreciation, I'm really pleased with it and it cost very little too:D Very good construction, lethal snap.

Jake Super proportions on that Wiseman, what a fine carry.

Glad to see you post this one up over here Jake, perfect model from Gene~

@Paulhilborn finally got up early enough for some nice morning light. Will be on it's way to you soon :) Green and Red go perfectly together.

Thank you Ron, some others to add when time allows---the 77's are addictive:o:thumbup:

Paul, Great haul on those knives. I agree the 77's are addictive. I can't wait to get some more myself. That natural micarta looks fantastic. For me the 77 is a perfect EDC. Great size, and a perfect pull.

Been busy, busy so posting pictures has taken a backseat to work...just to tired when I get home plus indoor lighting:o

These have arrived over the last six to eight weeks...some even sat in their tubes for several days before opening:eek:

Congrats on all those splendid knives, Paul!:thumbup: Being busy is good, but being so busy you can't even open the knives you've ordered is WAY less than ideal. At least you had a chance to be a little bit busy in the knife marketplace, too!;)

Poor pic but it's dark nearly all day now in the Arctic...

Robert Klaas/Kissing Cranes Germany, 3.5" completely sunk-joints, single-spring, Penknife in Horn. Both sides are different and interesting, knife seems unused has very good snap (pen blade a tough nut to open!) I don't know how old but guessing the 1950s/60s? This one is being carried immediately.
...The other side has a remarkable 'feather' effect or should I say like an open owl's wing?:D

Holy Tiger Tails, Will, that Klaas penknife is spectacular!:thumbup: That feathered horn is amazing, and your owl's wing description is excellent! Congrats on a superb acquisition!:cool:

It's an Old Forge Barehead Jack and the bolsters are copper. It was like $15 so I took a chance. It's actually a very nice knife. It's a big knife, the Opinel next to it is a No.10 and it's not much smaller. It took an extremely fine edge, blade is centered, and there's zero play. I've paid a lot more and received a lot less.
Thanks for the info, Bill. :) I was wondering about that "mystery knife" too, ever since you posted your "international finds."

Thanks for sharing your "prizes" with us, Tom. :) Congrats on winning a couple of wonderful knives!

I have some new additions that I'd like to post here, but I'm having some challenges trying to get photos. Both Paul and Will mentioned the darkness at this time of year. I've been thinking about how to take photos in the winter. It's usually dark when I'm not at work these days, so I'll have to take pictures indoors (my track record with that is NOT stellar so far) or on weekends (in the cold and snow before long). I hope I can discover a new technique. Necessity is the mother of invention, they say; come on, Mama, teach me something about winter photography!

Finally, after months of wishing and admiring, I decided to get this Burgundy Micarta Northwoods Presidential. I am so glad I did!

Tim my friend, I am as excited as a nine year old waiting for the Sea Monkeys he ordered off the back of a comic book to arrive:D I have you and Dean to thank for this long wait (8 yrs) come to fruition:thumbup:

Thank you Gary, busy here indeed but I see light at the end of the tunnel:o:thumbup: Do to the long hours I found my check was larger than usual...I went a bit overboard but justify it as an investment:o:p

Thanks, Paul. You ordered the sea monkeys, too!

Obviously pretty new here, and to this point could only post pictures of my "old fellows".

This week, my family took the occasion of my birthday to remedy that with my first GEC, a 54 Moose:

I'm going to echo everyone who has previously posted that "pics don't do (their knife) justice".

I'm sure everyone here has multiple examples of this handle material and pattern, and it will be a bit ho hum to many but......WOW. I'm blown away by GEC. This knife truly comes alive in your hand. I can't stop looking at it in different lights, different angles. The build quality, fit and finish, strong pull....you name it. 😍

My poor, poor wallet.
