Thanks, Jake. It has been over 43 years since I graduated and went in the Army. I never went back as my parents moved. My dad worked at Alcas making knives during the week and being a preacher the rest of the time. My first real knife was one he made and brought home for me. That's why I really treasure the Kabar Barlow.

This little guy arrived today. It's a Queen #3 Small Sleeveboard, D2 blades, feathered horn covers. This is my fist knife with horn, and it's quite nice. Smaller than I'm used to carrying lately, but I've been looking for a 'fancy' pen knife for the collection, and it seems I've found it

This the season! spent my christmas bonus on a S&M #90 Jack thats due soon, S&M stag barlow, S&M barlow in winterbottom bone, and 1 more back up kabar single blade, they were going for a special!

Coming in the mail today! Is it quitting time yet? I picked up one of the last (2) Schrade 3rd Gen knives that I need to finish off the collection. Here is the C627 with Hoffritz printed on the main blade. Last one on my list to find is the C628. I know there is someone in here with it. You are evil for holding onto it. Got to take a picture of all of the ones I do have & post them up. The last picture is what got me interested in the collection.

Received this GEC made Schrade, I have been looking for one of these for awhile, beautifully make knife.
Wow!
I picked this one up today. It's about as sharp as a piece of styrofoam but I'll fix that this evening. It's also a little whopperjawed, almost like someone stepped on it. But it's a user so no biggie.
