Found these two in a pawn shop bargain bin
They were very crusty, but appeared undamaged with almost full blades, both are 1970 10 dots.

Just cleaned them with a little flitz, no buffing
I never buff the blades, just clean them and resharpen

$30 out the door for both, I had to try really hard to not skip out the door like a little kid

Congrats on your fantastic acquisitions!:thumbup:
That canoe is a literal dreamboat!:D:cool:
What pattern is the black one?

Having never owned one before, I will say that no matter what comparison photos you look at or measurements you read before buying, they don't quite prepare you for the size this knife. It's huge! :D

I don't know that it'll go into the EDC rotation, but I do like it.

Don't know much about this one, but it is minty!

Well I certainly know I'd love to have one of those and in that condition:cool:

Would soon start putting it to use mind.:D

Is it carbon or stainless? Whichever, it's a treasure.

Thanks, Will

Here's a few I've picked up in the last year....
The little Remington is a pull ball auto, the small redbone Case is circa 40-64

It's a 31sab.
Swell end jack, Saber main blade

You done good !

This old Cattaraugus Jack is my latest purchase. Unusual for a Catt to have long pulls, especially on both blades. Looking forward to it's arrival:

Elkabong Certainly an impressive haul there.

Primble Sensational Worm-Groove Bone there and that shield sets it off just right. What a find!

Thanks, Will

Finally...
I received this Case Bose in November but I had to send it back to the factory for the weakness of small blades' springs. They replaced them and now it's ready!! Many thanks to Case's customer service

this little thing came in today, a schatt and morgan seconds,
that little blade is adorable. im not partial to sheepsfoot blades and have found this very amusing

I used to be all about the spear for a Barlow master but the more Queens and GECs I see with sheepsfoot blades the more I love it. I even went out and bought a bone Utica some time back as a stopgap. :D Lovely example, especially for a second!

This one came as a surprise. I did an extraction for a gentleman who was stuck in the mud up here this morning. I knew we would get along just fine when he came walking up to my wrecker wearing a W.R. Case ballcap. We talked about knives a little while I was winching his Subaru out of the mud pit. Well about 2 hours later he came into the office and asked for me. As I came in from the Crusher he called me over and handed me a Case box. He said that he wanted to give me a "tip" for getting his car out. Well this is what he gave me. The best "tip" I have ever received!

One of the best anybody could get! That teardrop is a real looker. I may start driving up and down the roads looking for people who need a hand. :D

This medium stockman arrived this morning.
I ordered it as a companion knife to my Texas jack, which would involve a tea soak to darken the handle scales, maybe forcing a patina on the blades, not really a problem to do, both the clip and sheepfoot blades have some rub marks and there are slight gaps between the back springs and the side scales none of which bother me.

Blade rub-n-all.

That's the big brother to one of my most-carried knives, the large stockman in the same amber and same jigging pattern with CV. It's already taking a nice patina, though I decided to stick with the color as-received. I really like the way the amber pops against the white background. Your tea-soak idea turned out pretty nicely, however, I'll bet it would look great in the "notable pairs" thread with that Texas jack.

I need a better class of pawn shop in my neighborhood! ;) Lovely Cases!

Saw that in the carry thread, what a beautiful Wolstenholm, those scales are awesome!

That 110 sure is a lot of knife! My first one was a brand new purchase. I received it expecting it to immediately become a heavy duty work knife, but when I took it out of its box the fit and finish and shine of the hardware made me rethink things. :p Since then I've gotten an older 110 (still a looker, though) that I can use as intended without feeling too bad. I carried it this weekend, just never got around to posting:

Case CV 3375 4 1/4" Large Stockman with pinched bolsters and yellow delrin

You didn't happen to get that off the bay, did you? If so, I think I made you pay a little more than you would have otherwise. :p Great find, love those big Case stock knives.

That Remington is in fantastic shape, a really nice example! I also really dig that Schrade equal-end, and the scales on both that Robeson and the Fightin' Rooster are fantastic! Nice haul. :D

Well now I know where all the primo Catts are going. :grumpy:;)

I had a lot of things come in, some requiring cleanup and some I just didn't get around to photographing last night. Two of my favorite new knives are depicted here, however.

Something(s) old (Boker and Pal swell-end jacks)...

...and something new (Case swayback jack, my first).
