I received four new ones today! I couldn't decide between the clip point or spear blade Northwoods Everyday Barlow and ended up with both (which is really stupid, because now I will probably get the sheepfoot to make a complete set). I'll share the other two I received today this weekend - I needed better light to do what I want...

in a completely bone headed move, i seemed to have ordered the wrong one on ebay. did not read too carefully, it is adorably small tho

Nothing fancy, but I just got this one today. Was pretty stiff when I got it, but a little oil and it's moving. Has a decent snap to it.

The Remington R16 has captivated me since I learned about it in The Sweet 16 GAW offered by Dr-Mabuse. I was able to find this one NIB on the big auction site:

It's a neat little knife. The gentle curve fits perfectly in my hand, making it feel more substantial than I'd thought it would. It'll be a few days before I have time to sharpen it, but I predict a good amount of pocket time after that.

That looks like a superb pick-up, Greg! I hope you end up enjoying it even more than you predict!

Brought home a couple "New to me" knives and one of my old ones in a good "whiskey wampum" session with some friends.

Any chance the bourbon and knife trading sessions happen anywhere near DFW? :)

Welcome to the R16 club Greg! That's fantastic! It brings me a small measure of joy to see these little half congresses falling into good hands.

Todays mail delivery brought me two really nice GEC's. A Spruce Green #18 Beagle and a #25 in blue camel bone. I am really happy with both new additions.
