Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

72 in Stag came in yesterday and find the fnf very good. Very sl...I mean very slight up and own play, and firm lockup. It is natural stag and I like that it has the naturally aged brown tint, which may not show up well in the picture. The purple now has me interested.

I hope the one that I have in the mail is that nice !!!!
Also waiting on the Purples !!!

Harry

IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE!

I got home from work and it has finally arrived! I'm so excited! Oh my gosh oh my gosh!

Stop teasing us Paul. :D Show us already.:cool:

I'm guessing an Open House #25 . . . but which one????

What Bob said!!:D

I'm sorry gents - I have a pregnant wife who needed, had to have, was going to kill me if she didn't get Chinese food so I have had to dash out for some. I'll be back in a wee while with the big reveal [emoji33]

Sorry about that. Here you are;

In 2008 the GEC open house offered 57 #252208 barlows in 15 different cover options. They are hard to come by. I finally bagged one a couple of months ago and it's been waiting to ship to the UK until its arrival yesterday - it's one of the 17 inferno red acrylics.

Lot of very attractive arrivals lately. Been unable to post pix due to the sudden death of my Macbook and I can't work out how to retrieve the photo archive from it..

Paul Sensational acrylic that one! Sort of like a Tiger's Eye, smouldering it is and more than worth the wait:thumbup::thumbup:

Great stuff ! Will

Really nice Paul

Sorry to hear about your Macbook Will :(

Yes Will, a similar thing happened to me a few years ago - nightmare! :grumpy:

Schatt & Morgan Heritage Cattleman from the 2012 series. The only real issues are that the Spear blade is a total bear trap and it almost covers up the nail nick on the Sheepsfoot blade when closed.

The tang cams are very roughly finished so I might be able to smooth them out a little and ease the pull a bit. While I'm at it I'll see if there's enough room to file the kick a for easier access to the Sheepsfoot nail nick.

I owned one of these when they first came out and it had similar flaws too. I love this knife anyway and I had to have another one.

kagato What a remarkable specimen! Direct from the tube, factory oil and choice Stag. That will make a fine knife, for life! You should be well pleased, beautiful knife.

Regards, Will

Thanks a lot, Will. I plan on carrying it often. Now I just have to keep my Dad from falling in love with it.

Sincerely, William

My burnt stag 73 showed up a couple days ago. Pictured with my trusty 77 for size reference. I had it in my mind that the 72 was going to be bigger than what I usually carry. As you can see from the images the 72 is similar in frame length to the 77.
