Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I'd really appreciate seeing a shot with blades closed, if you get the time for it.

Here you go, GT. Front and back along with one down the well to show off the file work on the interior of the liner.

We've recently started letting our 9-year-old take a camera along when we go places, as she likes taking pictures. I'm embarrassed to say that the shot she grabbed of the Ruple at the knife show is better than any I've managed to take.

Thanks for the extra photos, including the glamor shot your daughter took, Cory.
As I suspected and hoped, the sheepsfoot blade rides quite low, as do the joints. For my tastes, that's one majestic sowbelly!

It's really well designed, as you would expect from a knife carrying the Ruple name. The execution is just short of perfection, but close enough to be one of the best production knives in my collection. Between this one and the Ruple trapper from last year I'm really excited to see what Bill and Ken come up with next. So far it's been two home runs. The trapper and sowbelly are two patterns I associate with the Ruple name. It'll be interesting to see how far they stray from his signature patterns.

Thanks, Bob. There were a couple other knives there that Ken said were just finished up and I haven't seen advertised anywhere. Queen has some knives coming out that I think some people are going to be excited about.

Think my new CASE Stockman in Walnut Bone is going to have to go back :grumpy: Too many no-no faults, Major blade play on 2 blades, big gaps.

Well that's a shame Will. Hopefully you ordered it from a dealer on your side of the pond so it doesn't take forever to get a replacement.

The newest addition to my li'l Henckels collection. I know it's a modern one that was actually made by Boker, but stag barlows have been calling my name so when I saw this one, I caved. :o

I happened to land a Tim Britton Full Size Bullet.
Too bad it is too nice for me to carry. It is near as smooth as my sebenza and for a lockback, that is Fantastic!

Looks like my very first Barlow. Suck a great knife. You will love it.

I LOVE this thing, an EDC knife it is not (for me anyways) I bought it because it intrigues me and the release date is my eldest sons birthday. I had the single blade EZ open version in ebony before and regret selling that one.

I did order the large GEC sheath just in case I decide to scratch that carry itch:D

Canvas Micarta covers, two man misery whip saw shield, GiNormous Spear and saw blade. I believe it would act well as a conversation piece. It's just a BEAST:cool::thumbup:

Just arrived this morning... a GEC #H10 in 1095 with cocobolo and a well designed leather sheath. I've been wanting one of these for quite awhile. I posted a "WTB" here and received several tips that helped me find this one. :)

I like that Jeff, I too have been after a GEC fixed blade. Post your thoughts after some use:thumbup:

I think the description of Beast pretty well fits that one Paul , but it is unique .

WOW. That thing is awesome. Looks like you could cut down a tree with the saw blade.
