Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Flea market find. United Boker 4" Rustler's Stock Stockman. Factory edge, until I sharpened it up this weekend for pocket carry.

I think the description of Beast pretty well fits that one Paul , but it is unique .

WOW. That thing is awesome. Looks like you could cut down a tree with the saw blade.

Thanks Harry and John, it's such an oddity (to me anyways) plus it's issued date is the same as my boys birthday I thought I'd pick it up for a look see:D:thumbup:

Nice!
I have recently carried my GEC toe, pretty much exclusively. It's big knife, but only single spring so it's not really that heavy or cumbersome to carry. Can't say how that lumberjack would carry though! :D

Toe is bit harder to get out of pocket, and clumsier to open, but especially now with the winter coming and all, I could not imagine task it couldn't do (as far as folding knife tasks go).

I obtained one of the Short Run of the 72's with the Violet Pioneer Bone . Like it over-all much more than the first one . Both are very smooth in operation and the blade lock is pretty solid .
The Pile side handle on this one just has some character to it .
The new one is on the bottom . The marking on the blade is just NORTHFIELD.

My first 72 will be gifted at Christmas.

Just added two new traditional folders to the line up. Case Mini Trapper and GEC #14 Lick Creek Boys Knife. Love the Case! The GEC is a great knife, very well made but surprisingly small! Its my first GEC and I have absolutely no complaints about the quality. The fit & finish is fantastic, but its just so small I feel like I'm going to lose it.

That little #14 just might grow on you. I carry a larger knife in my right front pocket. I really don't need two knives but I carry one of my #14's in my watch pocket because I just can't resist that little knife. My favorite pocket watch quit running and I'm used to having something in that pocket anyway.

I've been carrying the #14 in this manner for about three weeks and I think I have only used it once. I mainly just have it there because it feels good to have it with me.

To tell the truth Brett, I lucked into both. The first wasn't even on my radar. I was searching for one with different covers that I thought I would find without too much trouble, which I didn't. Same story with the second. Double beginners luck. I will say, they fill the hand and the eye beautifully. btw, the Douk-Douk is my most used knife. Looks aren't everything, or you can't judge a book by its cover. Easy carry, no worries about damage (you should see mine), easy to sharpen, my go to. I would never use most of my GEC's as I use the D-D.

Happy birthday, Taylor!

I just received a beautiful Spruce Green Northfield Beagle from buckeyebullet (Thanks, Matt!) I can't wait to pair it with my OD Coyote and Bermuda Green Peanut!
