Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I've been looking for this for a while, and even though it's used and no tube I'm definitely not disappointed.

Picked up a beautiful Winchester Blue Grass #2903 swell center jack with the nice brown bone (not the darker brown/black).
Single spring, spear and pen in 1095 steel, stamp dated 1990.

Yeah Will, it's really pretty sweet. Great snap and action, no light between liners, slim in the pocket, and just a hair bigger than a Conductor.

I've been thinking of using flitz Colin, but I'm juggling losing the etch versus the scratches. Since it's already in my pocket I think I'm just going to see if a light patina might be the best of both worlds.
That's a real nice Winchester, Jeff.

Today was a big day for me, knife wise. First, there was the newest addition to my wood covered, bare head Jack collection with this Enderes single blade. The blade has the typical mutilation you see from someone trying to "clean up" and old knife for sale. Hopefully, I'll be able to get it sorted nicely.

Then, I got to open my second package. Jake (JITDC) and I worked a trade in which I received this GORGEOUS Black Cherry Saw Cut TC 14 two blade. I can't wait to see this thing gleam in the sunlight tomorrow! It's my first TC!

As Shawn mentioned above we worked out a great trade for both of us. He sent me this #77 Barlow for my #14 TC.

He even included this excellent Case Peanut which was extremely generous and a total surprise. I very much appreciated it. Thanks Shawn!

If any knife will convert you to small knives, it'll be a Peanut! I know that 14 single blade of yours is growing on you. You'll never know that Peanut is in your pocket, though, until you need it.

I think you should be accused of theft , but then again I prefer the 77 and Northfields myself.

I'm very surprised with the peanut so far. Its only been in my hands for a few hours now but it has a very sturdy, capable feel for such a small knife. The walk and talk is great, and I'm a sucker for brass liners. Paraphrasing what someone mentioned in another post/thread, too many knives and not enough pockets.

Harry - the Northfields are my favorite too!

CM, you're turning into a slipjoint man, good on you! That interframe Alsdorf is pretty slick!

I've sold a lot of knives lately, even some very hard to get customs outside of the forum, to buy what is now the top of my collection. I hunt, I like hunting knives. I've been using Loveless style knives my whole life (save for the Schrade Sharpfinger!).

It was only a matter of time that I made the jump into the deep end and bought one. It was very expensive...and that's why I plan to use it! I can't let it just sit in a display case. After having it for only 24hrs, it's currently on the way to Bob Dozier to have a new sheath made so that I don't ruin the original numbered sheath with Loveless' signature on it. Stay tuned for more pics when I have it afield! (These are the stock photos from AZCK).

This model is the Semi-Skinner, and while Loveless was known for his drop point design, he concedes that this pattern is the master of all trades for the serious hunter.
