Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Tex give me a while and I'll post comparo pics. It's 4" closed with a 2 7/8" blade.

Here are some comparison photos of the Opera with a GEC 73.
The Opera is a little longer closed. It does have an integral lanyard hole. The GEC has a longer blade but the cutting edges appear to be the same. The Opera is much thicker but that is probably due to it having stag covers. 1095 steel vs. D2. If I had to choose I wouldn't have so many knives.

I couldn't resist and had to try out the Vic Alox with scissors. Hello, Pioneer X. I wish you had a nail file instead of a punch, but you sure are snazzy looking. :D

My newest "traditional". NIB 1999 Buck #331 Grandaddy Barlow in jigged Bone, SFO made by Camillus for SMKW catalog, the rarest of the Buck Barlows. Found a Buck honey hole and this was in it.

That's one Ive never seen or read about. Thanks for sharing that beauty.

Holy smokes, but that is a looker! The jigging and coloration of the bone are just exceptional.

About two years after getting into traditionals, I decided to give carbon steel a try. The Barlow is my favorite pattern, and no Barlow has captivated me quite like the GEC Northfield 77 with sawcut bone covers and a single clip point blade. This one came in the mail today:

Thanks, as to that honey hole, it will remain a secret for now, at least until I dredge up all I want from it. Believe it or not these were never sold by Buck themselves, (there were large & small versions in various handle materials), so they were Bucks in name only, they were a special order by SMKW, made by Camillus and sold only through the SMKW catalog in that single year, no surprise you haven't seen many, there just were not that many made. I think I posted photos of the black & yellow sawcut Delrin versions earlier in this thread.
