Just the epitome of an American Stockman Kiro. The NY followed the Walden stamp, then dropped to just Schrade up to their closing. What a shame losing SchradeI picked up this Schrade 881 at an antique store yesterday. I'm not sure when it was made. Has match strike pull, "Schrade" on the shield, and no "Walden". Regardless, it is in fantastic shape. My first large stockman and I'm really enjoying it.

You could have it gold plated!Right it is...but since the knife has no liners, no backspring, no pins I think there won't be any brass bleed problem
Brass seems to react with carbon steel fittings in particular. Well maybe it's GOLD...
