I finally bought a 433 about a month ago after wanting one for years and hearing about how fine the f and f is. It is beautiful in every way except I must have gotten the only moki ever made thats blade is so far out of whack when closed that it rubs the liner. Thanks GT, nice to hear from you.
Another newish one, Moki Kronos 533. F&F is par excellence, only matched in my folder collection by one other, a Moki Serapis.Pull is a bit light, I'll give it a 4, but oh so buttery smooth. I hadn't been considering it but was intrigued by a recent thread on lockbacks (@BP_ ) where it was mentioned.

BP, you had wondered about how this knife might hold up as a long term EDC. I obviously can't say for sure, but suspect the weak pull could be it's Achilles tendon as it may weaken over the years. Otherwise it's very sturdy, not a bit of blade play and solid covers.
Edit I just pulled out the Kronos and noticed it has six, count em, six pins. Now that's sturdy![]()
I seem to remember saying something about having no interest in collecting/accumulating fixed blades...
An impulse item added on to my Barlow order (tax returns just spend themselves, don't they?)

Very cool Could you post a picture of it with the caplifter in the closed position?I just got my Beerbelly project knife back from Glennbad . . . yippee!! He replaced the spey blade with a caplifter from a Case 6207 mini-trapper, creating what may be the world's first Beerbelly stockman. I had to have a special beer for it's virginal "lift," and I think the Founders Scotch Ale (brilliantly delicious!) a worthy first. Here is the requisite historic pictorial of the maiden voyage, so to speak.

It sits in there really niceSure, Rodeo, here you go. The nail nick is actually on the wrong side of the blade (my fault, not Glenn's), but he made it work anyway. You can access the nick from the mark side.

Thanks. It's really comfortable! That's a beautiful Hess. You chose wisely with the stacked leather. Hess does stacked leather particularly well.

Very unlike Moki. Something went wrong for sure. I do hope you send it back. Good luck.I finally bought a 433 about a month ago after wanting one for years and hearing about how fine the f and f is. I thought about it but still it is absolutely beautiful. Besides i read the return policy from the known site I bought it from and they actually made a poke about people sending knives back for uncentered blades. Lol. Probably the finest polished blade I have ever seen. I gave it to my wife. It resides in its leather lined sheath in her purse.Very unlike Moki. Something went wrong for sure. I do hope you send it back. Good luck.
