Michael, I'm glad to see that you're enjoying the Sowbelly! -Lance
It is a great knife! I had to use @5K Qs tip and safety-pin my pockets to keep it upright. It is bigger and heavier than what I am used to... but kept vertical in the pocket I don't even notice it (until I think to take it out to admire). :D

Perfectly centered and slicy sharp. Very happy to finally take delivery....I love the whole Brazilian cherry beaver thing ...obviously...but that timber is most appealing.20180430_160505.jpg
The pumice stone I stole from New Zealand.

Wait till Duncan get's wind of that.....:cool:not doing the old convict cliche any harm :D:D

Very nice knife there, cool shield and great wood-chewed...:)

Stupid kiwis they think we are visiting the beautiful scenery but we are actually bringing the whole lot over to Oz....pebble by pebble, stone by stone, boutique brewery by boutique brewery.
Muuuhhhhaahhhaaa ha hah ahuk.
I wonder if the friendly folk have ever noticed how tourists arrive with one backpack yet leave with two.

This 2014 manufactured Case SS Sowbelly with Pocket Worn Bermuda Green bone covers came in today from Mike at Collector Knives. I gave it a good going over and there are no chips, gaps, drips, runs, or errors. There is virtually no underblading and the joints are almost completely sunken. The fit and finish is superb. It matches anything that has come from GEC.

I don't usually get this enthusiastic about a knife but I really like it.
