Ok so I stopped in the wally world in another town close to me, a friend said they had a better sporting goods section. Well they did have a bigger variety of knives, mostly moderns. But they had this combo for $19.95, bout 21 bucks plus tax. Fit and finish is pretty darn good, with a couple minor things "off". On the trapper scales were just a bit to square for my taste, that's mostly a personal preference. The clip blade is very slightly out of center, but doesn't rub. On the little one the center pin is struck off center on one side. Instead of a domed head it is 1/2 a dome with a ridge. Otherwise nice walk and talk, snaps open and closed good. No half stops. Blades are a shallow full width hollow ground, very slicey. Absolutely no gaps. I'd say every bit as good as a RR. Maybe better in some regards. I will point out I bought the display ones. Girl behind the counter said they was on order but it'd be 2 weeks, said they sold out quick and offered me the displays.

Nice scores !

Another beauty, ED, I dig the barb wire covers, also. It is strange that they shift the sheepfoot nick from mark to pile, and maybe even back and forth more than once. I have had a 2001 and a 2003, and both had the sheepfoot nick on the pile side. It would be interesting for anyone here that has a TB6339 sowbelly to state the year made and which side the sheepfoot nick is on.
My 2001 has the sheepfoot nick on the pile side as you said.

My wife and I hit some yard sales yesterday, not many knives seen except for really cheap junk. We stopped at a restaurant that we had never been to before, then made a side trip to a nearby hardware store. I had never been to this one before either, but it is owned by the same people who own the one where I found my chestnut bone swayback jack (about 25 miles distant). They had a very nice, well stocked Case display. I've been wanting something in green for a while now, so I came away with this 2018 peanut in pocket worn Bermuda Green bone with peach seed jigging. Much thanks to my wife for being so understanding of this relatively new obsession!

One oddity -- this one is about 1/16" longer than both my 2017 peanut and my 1982 peanut.

Even though that cotton sampler is not my cup of tea, those abalone covers are so gorgeous I'd still carry it, just wouldn't open it, hahahaha.
LOL - Thanks Alan. It's my first but I've wanted one for some time. It really is a beauty. Even CLOSED--- :D:D
