I wouldn't have bought it, because I have a millstone's worth of scout/camp/utility knives.
Except for the Craftsman shield with it's nostalgia for Sears, made in America, and Bob Vila.
I would have bought it for $25 minus 20%, except I see no sign of pins, so it's probably a Swindon-key Schrade instead of a Camillus.
But she chased around looking for her husband to see how low he'd go, and she let me go upstairs to see the old opera house.
So here it is.
Thank you.Yes, it’s Swindon key construction. Still a nice knife though. Good steel.
Nice one! Interesting pin symmetry and lovely rusty jigged bone. Clip/pen to boot!
Thanks Joshua, the bone color was one of the reasons I couldn't pass it up.Nice one! Interesting pin symmetry and lovely rusty jigged bone. Clip/pen to boot!
Santa Claus arrived earlier, today, in the mailbox my new purchase, this beautiful English knife (standard type 15) by Joseph Rodgers from Sheffield in Rosewood...

Search for "Case Small Coke Bottle". It is a 3 inch knife. There are a few out there if you search for them, but this was the only shadow I found available.JohnDF What is that unusual CASE pattern? Think I have a Butterbean in similar bone but I don't know that pattern. Interesting
