I don't know anything about it, but that sure is one handsome knife.Ever since I sawblack mamba henckels square end stockman with slanted bolsters, I've been on the lookout for one. Finally found it. The seller undersold it's condition, for sure. Its nicer than the pics showed. I never could find any information on these particular ones, so if anyone knows anything, I'm all ears. Look for it in the carrying thread fairly often after the holidays, id imagine.

Wow! That's a beauty, Mike! Congrats! Here's a Utica that Mike (Galvanic) was kind enough to sell me. it's from the Utica factory board display. Stamps on both sides of all of the blades. About 1910-1912. Right after I got it I was cleaning off some shelves and found a Knife World article on Utica that had pictures of Mike's knives and some great history. I have new appreciation for vintage Uticas now.

Thanks Will. I’ve only had it a few weeks. Mike took great care of it. I put mineral oil on most of my old knives. I use lemon oil (furniture oil) on wood and stag.Mike Robuck What a sensational capture! And I'm not normally a big enthusiast for MOP. Sunk joint and nice shot of the split back construction
Just wondering how often that brass needs cleaning & taking care of? Because I find it greens up with verdigris pretty quickly on my knives. Any 'insider' information about how to keep brass from greening?
Your Christmas Holidays started with a fine bang this year
Thanks, Will

Where did you get that one, if you don't mind me asking. If it is a non supporting dealer, please shoot me a pm. That is a nice looking scout stockman. This is what happens when I’m home for too many days and the weather isn’t that great....I buy knives!!!
