Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Nice find! Looks clean, with a full blade!:thumbsup:

Definitely! I gave it a good flush out with WD-40 then applied a liberal amount of mineral oil, made a few passes on an 8000 grit diamond, saddle soaped the sheath then applied some leather dressing and black polish, and put it on my belt. :)

I just received a new Buck 303 Cadet, and it is a surprisingly good knife. Nothing fancy, but a great wet weather pocket knife. If this was available with jigged bone, ironwood, micarta, and similar materials, I think it would sell well.

Very sharp, and I like the thick blade stock ground thin the way Buck does it. I dont love the shield, but its better than the shields that say Buck. Maybe Buck needs to look through the archives and find an old buck head shield?

The Buck 303 is very reasonably priced, less than 40 dollars new. it was made December 2018. Better fit and finish than the forum knives I received. No gaps in springs, but slightly uneven springs when closed, which go flush when opened.

The action is soft, a 3-4 on main clip and pen, and maybe a 2 on the sheepsfoot. All
blades close without assistance but the sheep blade doesnt open without being pulled all the way open.

E Elgatodeacero Nice pix and review of the Buck, it's a fine small pocket knife but being a tough worker knife it's unlikely it will ever appear in the scales you suggest I'm afraid.

I just feel annoyed they've stopped the Yellow delrin range, incomprehensible, fortunately I have one.

I'm delighted with the example of the Forum Knife I got and will be using it a lot, a real bargain when you think of getting Elk, all stainless construction (no brass stink!) and 154 which is a beaut:cool:

+1  I wish they had not stopped the red Delrin as well and would like some blue or green!:(

GEC 44 has arrived, it has met the Edge Pro (I’m one ofe the sharpening challenged people), and I have adjusted the very hard pull a bit.

Now I’m waiting for a Buck Cadet, and then I’ll take a group shot. :)

Went back to the pawn shop. Had to. It was eating at me. Five blades.....FIVE:eek:
The Case Tested era, got blinded by the old tang stamp, main blade is reprofiled, only noticed while looking at others on eBay. Plus other clues I posted in the Case thread:rolleyes: but I still got it for a song, think I told be a user. What y'all think?:)
Gorgeous knives!
That pawn shop has been a good mine for ya lately!

Thanks:thumbsup: It has for sure, there still a hand full of knives there to think about. Another green bone case just like the one I got but in more used but not abused shape. A Case congress and a Boker congress just to name a few. Good place to keep an eye on for sureo_O
Great. Curious to see that stag whittler from the same shop when you get her polished up.
I guess I need to start looking at some shops around here.

A Boker congress, you say? You know it's calling you back. ;)
Today’s mail call.

I *love* these little 14s. I don’t understand why some folks think these are too small. IMHO, they’re just about perfect.
