I've only purchased one Rough Rider since August but I feel compelled to comment as I had the same thoughts when I received this one.Hey GT, I've only been buying RR for a few months and really don't have a large base to judge by, but does it seem to you the quality of the fit'n'finish has gone up lately? The ones I bought just before Christmas seen to be especially superb. You'd have to be super picky to find flaws in them imo. Like most I've been blown away by their quality vs price from the start. Thanks
Super sneaky and super sweet. Congratulations. Here's a Christmas gift from my daughter. She must have bought it in Toledo, Spain at least 1.5 years ago, and stored it away as a future gift. It's a laguiole, unbranded, but I'm quite sure it's a Far East import to Spain. Nice knife IMHO.

Nice find! Looks clean, with a full blade!I've wanted a Buck 112 for years. I almost ordered one this week, but just couldn't make up my mind and decided to pass on it. Glad I did, because today I stopped by the local shop and found this two-dot 112 in excellent condition.it'll make a perfect companion for my two-dot 110!

There are some blade rub marks but I created those myself. Blades do not touch each other without my interference. This thing is a beast and the construction is exceptional. Carbon blades.
A very well executed Split Back Whittler pattern. I'm impressed.

These are still made on the original equipment, and this definitely looks like it was made by the Christy company.Received this from a friend who found a few. He thinks they are period, but the maker is unknown, the pile side is the same as yours except it is written 1950 as on the picture.
Two steps locking unlocked by depressing the knob downward. No maker's name.
