I just got this nice 1966 Buck 301, all that was needed was a mineral oil wipe down. Pretty similar to the 8OT, I think they were made about 7-8 years apart if my research shows.

Not a new knife, but I decided to try some copper scales. I was curious to see how they'd patina and how much weight they would add. It definitely feel hefty in hand--heftier in pocket, but I don't mind that. In fact, I think I'll prefer the extra heft in hand.
