Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

We have a young man that delivers for us and needs a knife throughout the day but doesn't have one. He saw my GEC Cotton Sampler and commented how he liked it. I stumbled across this small version (3" long) with bonestag covers.

I put a leather fob on it and will give it to him next week. I have to say, what a nice little knife:thumbsup: beautiful covers, solid, centered blade that it lethal sharp with ZERO PLAY. I went this route because I'm not sure if he'll appreciate a more expensive knife. If he does he can graduate up if he wants:)

That is a good looking knife, Paul! I’m often surprised by RR’s quality, particularly at the price point, and that one’s no exception!

Dave, Dwight, Gev, Dennis, Gary, Jolipapa, David, Barrett, Pinemon and Harry, thank you all for the nice comments. He's a young man lovin life, he's from South Dakota and is moving back home in August. It's neat to watch a young man that reminds you of how things were so carefree and we lived life day by day. Without trying to get to philosophical, life has what we refer to as era's or chapters etc... and when I look at him, it just takes me back in a very good way to a very early chapter in my life. It's like he doesn't have a care in the world, yet is a caring kid. Sometimes you get frustrated and just wish you could educate him on certain things to save him some hardship but we all know that you need to LIVE it:thumbsup::)

Now whether he keeps the knife for days or years, I hope it brings him some of the joy we derive from these wonderful pocket tools:thumbsup:

Pinemon, Rough Rider calls it a mini Cotton Sampler:thumbsup:

Good on ya Paul. That's a beautiful knife will be great for a young man. I've got to say, those Rough Rider knives are very nice. The ones I have are well built, solid, knives with great fit and finish.
