Thank you very much my friend . I also feel that it was a very productive day . I did not find what I was looking for but I certainly did not expect to find a Taylors Eye Witness Gentlemens Barlow in MOP , or a Shapleighs Doctors Knife , and for sure not a Bob Cargills Cripple Creek NIB Split Back Whittler . I needed a Good MOP , a Doctors Knife , and Diamond Edge Barlow for my meager collection . I never would have thought to ever find a NIB ( with all the papers ) Cripple Creek knife that I like as well as a Splitback Whittler , much less one in Stag . It actually has 3 Blades . Clip , Pen , and Coping . To say that I am happy about what I found would be an understatement . And the day started out with having breakfast with @herder , @Amir Fleschwund , Mr. & Mrs @Half/Stop , and my wife at the local Cracker Barrel after having a phone conversation with our friend @paulhilborn on the drive over . Some days , Life Is Very Very Very Good ..
Harry, you had an extremely productive day. What’s the second blade on the Cripple Creek?
I am sorry that we missed you again Lance . Very nice Primble that you found my friend .I picked up a couple of new knives today, at the Badger Knife Show, in Janesville. The first picture is a Schrade 881 stockman. The other two pictures are a John Primble 935, which is basically a Schrade 8OT with a different tang stamp. Heads-up Buzzbait! You passion for the "camp/scout" knife made me curious. I've been hunting the past couple months and landed these three. You were right - the Remington is smooth and pretty, but the Camillus is just plain solid. It is still tight and snappy. The Cub Scout might be the weekend warrior though, with a blade, a bottle opener and a cigar holder(awl). Thanks Harry! Unfortunately I’m unable to make it up there on opening day, due to my work schedule. I do look forward to hearing about your trip to the show each year. You came away with some nice finds this year, as well.I am sorry that we missed you again Lance . Very nice Primble that you found my friend .

Rick, I really like the shape of that spear; it's almost a Zulu, very useful looking as a single blade.
Oh my! Those are super fine! Made me look a bit to see if I could be so lucky.I picked up a couple more Parker Frost Bisons recently. The brown one was marked with 0097 to match my green one and a couple of trappers too. I’ve seen the red one on here before and if I could ever find the green trapper I’d be a happy camper.

Nice... You're lucky... I'm an AG fan too, as you know. I noticed the new barlow with the pocket clips in the latest catalogs. The old version was something I never acquired but wanted. Wish the new version kept the lanyard hole. The New A.G. Russell Medium Barlow Lockbacks have a pocket clip on them now. That sparked a conversation between Tom @Whetstone39 and I. Long story short, I told Tom that I didn't care for the new versions and that I wished I hadn't waited so long to decide to buy one.
Tom happened to have two of the originals that were made without a pocket clip and he sent me his Yellow Delrin version which is my favorite one of the batch. It just arrived today. Thanks again, Tom!
