Nice little Boker one arm jack, only real fault is both springs a tad proud closed. Not a big deal to me but just saying for full disclosure. Its marked "Germany" on the shield, so assembled in Germany from outsourced parts? I'm thinking of dying it brown, anyone know if dying in hot rit dye will cause the shield to come unglued?

Does it open using "one-arm"? It looks like the "scoop" isn't as prominent as the other one-arms I've seen.

Your spot on, it isn't as prominent and as a result it is difficult to open in that way. I just posted it in the modified thread, so far just rounded the covers and darkened them some. But I'm thinking a little tweaking of the "scoop" may be in the future ;)

Just arrived ...

Im not one for fancy, swirly colors on a knife....but, I’m thinking that would be a great 4th oh July bbq knife! Of course it would have to see lots of bottle opening usage to justify ito_O

I don't typically like that stuff either but for some reason this one called to me. I'll definitely give it a workout in the coming week unless I pull another bonehead move and buy canned beer.

Using the method recommended above, use the following as an example:
[ img] copied URL [/img ]. NOTE: Delete all spaces inside the brackets.

The brackets on each side of the copied link will be what is used to make the picture show up.

Hope this helps.

I see you are using Imgur. When you click on your pic in Imgur, to the right you get a bunch of links. You want the one that says, "BB Code". Hit the copy button, then go to your post and paste it in.
Or you can just get the web address of the pic, https://i.imgur.com/i4Cjd40.jpg
then copy that and use the picture tool on the tool bar. It's next to the smiley tool.

Nice Swayback. Congrats!

Actually, I dropped into this thread because I picked up a Victorinox "Florist" (AKA "Gardner") knife.

Here it is next to a Victorinox "Pocket Pal". You can see that it's both longer and thicker. Very hand filling and very comfortable to use. Both the primary and secondary grinds are chisel grinds. Absolutely flat on that side of the knife. Good for making very precisely placed cuts, as a florist or gardener might want to do. I've not decided yet if I want to leave it chisel ground.
