Just picked up this Klaas Kissing Cranes, its about 4 5/8 inches closed, great walk'n'talk, looks to have some sharpening blade loss. Its seen a buffer but not too badly. Its big at 4-5/8 closed. Deeply etched picture of a man on a bench whittling, "Old Grandad" and KC83S. Tang reads ROB.KLAAS over Solingen Germany

I've been wanting to visit the knife shop in Radcliffe KY for some time, and finally had the time yesterday. Came back with these 3. First up is a Solingen Boker they call a prime Barlow. Comes in at under 2 Oz. and very well built. Then also impressive for the price point is the Chinese Remington trapper. I believe these are being made by Buck. Finally, they had a variety of NOS "black box" Winchesters. I have been searching for a good sowbelly to carry, and this particular one was discounted due to some rust on the blades. A little elbow grease and some polish mostly took care of that. The best part is that while we were in the store for 2 hours, not only did my wife not get bored, but found a couple knives for herself.

The wood on that Boker is outstanding!

My newest one arrived, hand delivered by joecurd.... we live in the same town... how cool is that? We plan to violate all kinds of social distancing rules and have a couple of beers one of these days soon....
It's a 2015 Forum Knife by Canal Street... single spring two blade knife in bocote wood.. VERY nice knife....

I picked this one up from @AFAustin on the exchange. Andrews annual sale to help the pups always provides some great knives at great prices. All for a terrific cause! :thumbsup: This one is a Sodbuster from Solingen Germany! It is a Wilh. Wagner. The company was in business from 1876 until 1970. Its beautifully covered with Bocote and a carbon blade. Great walk and talk with no half stop. Very smooth and very snappy. :)

Got my brand new fish knife in the mail today, all the way from Poland. Lacks the hollow stamped metal handles of the fish knives of bygone years, but a faithful enough version to bring back memories of fishing from the Ocean City inlet bridge.

4-7/8” closed and came nice and sharp. I need to add a fob before I close the blade on the bail by mistake (again..:oops:).

Arrived yesterday. Schrade 301 circa 68’-71’. A truly fine knife. Made at a place and in a time when true craftsmanship was the norm not a surprise. It is still full of factory oil turned to sludge and covered in decades of tarnish. I’ll flush the joints, clean it, carry it a day or two and put it aside. This ones a grandkids knife for sure. Nice score Ron. The figuring on that Bocote is very nice. Also, I have seen you use that background on other knife photos...it's also very nice and is a nice warm
contrast to the knife scales.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
