Dean Robertson jigged bone in emerald green. He calls it a cut down backpocket at 4" closed. It's flush in all 3 positions. Shadow pattern with a birds eye pivot using O1 steel.View attachment 1368602 View attachment 1368601

Nice little Boker one arm jack, only real fault is both springs a tad proud closed. Not a big deal to me but just saying for full disclosure. Its marked "Germany" on the shield, so assembled in Germany from outsourced parts? I'm thinking of dying it brown, anyone know if dying in hot rit dye will cause the shield to come unglued?
Thanks, I did the little Boker and it stayed on,but I will remember that it is a possibility for them toncome off. I only dunked the Boker a few times relatively briefly because I wanted it just a bit darker but not completely re-dyedI'm a little late to the party responding to this, David. I've dyed at least a dozen or more RR's and have had 2 shields pop off while simmering in hot
water. I used super glue glue to reattach and they have stayed since.![]()
Reminds me of William Stout’s formula for aircraft design: “Simplicate and add lightness.”It doesn't get more basic than the original wirejack. Tang stamp Pat. Apld. For. places it prior to 1926. Total of 3 parts, frame, blade, and pin.View attachment 1371057
