The bog oak looks great, how does it hold up as far as color fastness and hardness?Got my other 74 (Stallion) back from Glenn. The bog oak looks even better on this one than the 74 Mustang.

Great stag on that one! This finally arrived this morning, quite ironic, there has been another GEC drop since this one, and another just about to drop. I was going to post in the GEC #33 thread, but i feel it is probably too late.

Thanks! It has been great so far. The wood seems as hard if not harder than ebony and the color hasn’t changed a bit. A few hundred or thousand years in the bog makes things pretty settled I guess! The bog oak looks great, how does it hold up as far as color fastness and hardness?
Thanks, this is my first stag, was always a bit gun shy not being able to see them in person, but really happy with this. Will only get better with carry.Great stag on that one!

Nice !! Looks a little like my Micarta Nxt Gen.. Cant go wrong with a Barky #Mini Kephart arrived. Initial thoughts - I like it. Not too small, not big. Much smaller and lighter than the ESEEs I used to use for my emergency kit.

Yep - just strong good looking tools, work horses. Had an Ultra lite bushcrafter with fancy liners and scales but couldn't bring myself to use it. It went fast when I listed it !Thanks! Had to look for that one - similar looks, same use cases I believe.
That's a great looking knife! My first experience with Rope jigging...I like it
