Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Fresh out of the box Boker Trapper Beer Barrel Oak. It has exceeded my expectations by so much! What a well made knife. I can not find one flaw it checks every box that I’m aware of lol.
Open it and hold it in your hand and it screams Craftsmanship 👍🏻

Been searching for years before I found a good one of these at a reasonable price; Camillus 88 Lok-Rancher from the bicentennial, also Camillus' 100th anniversary.
The tab on the mark side slides forward to "lok" the clip main.

Worth the wait from what I can see - nice Stockman!
Some of you might remember that I have a Red Ryder Large Stockman, new in packaging.
Well, I was lucky enough to get the Medium Stockman, new in packaging as well... Some day I'll find the others (Small Stockman and Trapper)
Nice packaging, hope you find the other two. OH

That’s pretty neat to have it in the packaging. My oh my I would open that in like a week after going nuts. It’s like having that “unfired” collector rifle…I’d just have to plink a can or three. :) You have way more willpower than me sir!

A few times every week I pass this store that has a Victorinox Garden Knife at display in the front Window and every time I reach into my pocket where my #71 has gotten somewhat of a permanent home and I think to myself that the two knives would make a really great pair (if not practically then at least visually). Well, today I pulled the trigger on it.

Whereas the pull and snap on the Victorinox knife go pretty well with what the #71 offers the fit and finish on the two knives are far from remotely close. The handle material on the Victorinox feels cheaper and just lesser in the hand - also compared to "classic" Victorinox models. That said, I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to put some use to it.

Edit: sorry for the grainy photo. I might post a better one in the Notable pairs thread 😏.
