Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I’ve been wanting a Ka-Bar Dogs Head for a while. Comparable in size, fit & finish, etc to my 33 Conductors. it’s a pretty cool little knife and the shield is awesome IMHO.

Thinking maybe a Winchester Black Box should be next on my list.

Catdaddy2 Catdaddy2 you will really like the old Boker USA knives. IMO right on par with the original (USA) Schrade Old Timer knives - good, hardworking, duty grade pocketknives. I have owned a couple of the same 492 you have (but only one now) - love the long pull and blade swedge on the Spear main blade - really gives a working knife a nice look. Mine snaps hard but can be opened without breaking a nail. The Clip blade versions seem to be more numerous. OH

I myself just received this one. These are fantastic! Mine is a clip 493. Will need to look for a 492 also!

Mail showed late today. Anywhos, Boker Trapper Uno Desert Ironwood now in the stable.

Out-of-the-box impression: fit and finish is good, very minor amounts light visible between spring and liners if you get it lined up right. Walk and talk is a bit jerky/ gritty, smoothed out a bit after the first 5 or so openings, should smooth out more with a good flush/ clean/ lube. Blade is centered, no noticeable blade play. Very slight differences in size and profile between this and the Case/ DLT SFO Barehead Trapper.

About 4 years ago, my brother-in-law gave me a handful of knives he had laying around and inadvertently kick started my knife collecting hobby. One of the knives was a Camillus Yello-Jaket Trapper. Although it's a "Junior Trapper" is was a bit bigger than what I typically carried at the time (a small single blade lockback), so it ended up in the back of the collection drawer. I stumbled upon it a couple of weeks ago when I pulled out all of my knives to see how they would all fit into the new case I'm making (they fit with room to grow). Anyways, I stumbled upon a group of other Yello-Jakets and thought it would be fun to have more of them.

The top Trapper is my original, the Stockman, Half Congress and Muskrat just arrived.
