Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Congrats, David!! :thumbup::thumbup:
I can see why you're very happy; I'd be positively giddy with a superb 2-blade EO sheepsfoot Scout like this one! :D
If I recall correctly, you're getting quite a collection of absolutely gorgeous EOs. Any chance of seeing a group shot sometime?? ;)

- GT

David - Nice pickup. that is a beautiful Scout

Thanks GT and Ron! It's a fun one :) Yah - I can post a group pic. in the next few days. Might even be nice to dedicate a thread to EOs...

I've had my eye on a Northwoods Hawthorn for some time.

This Canal Street is super smooth, no stops and light in my pocket.

This last one may end up my new favorite...Northfield Wall Street in burnt stag. It's the first modern slip joint that I've been able to grab the blade with one hand and drop the knife open. I can also depress the lock back with my thumb while pushing the blade down with my index finger. A true one hander. Love it.

That trio is very impressive indeed! So much of the fun is the "hunt" isn't it… :)

Armando, superb Tidioute Jack. Sometimes the absence of embellishments actually makes a knife more attractive as is the case with this knife you have just posted. I would like to know the pattern # and handle material please. I think i 'need' one of these !
thanks, kj

^^^I'm floored by the handle covers as much as the blade! That is a special knife. Congratulations!

Thanks KJ...the lack of shield and the fact that it's a barehead, makes it that much more attractive to me.

This is a #15 Boys Knife in Smooth Ivory Bone

Wow, that Lloyd is out of this world! John sure has a way with stag... and a sort of signature look, almost, which I feel like I could pick out of a crowd every time. Just gorgeous! Congrats, clutchcarter!

Very nice!

I just got my first micarta traditional, and it is also my first GEC:

I hope you are as pleased as I am!

Eric

Yes i am thank you Eric, but your new acquisition is confusing the heck out of me, Please put me out of my misery.
Regards Bob.

Thanks for the compliments on the Lloyd everyone. She's a beauty isn't she!
puukkoman......I agree with you about that signature look. I've noticed that at knife shows, his are very easily recognized.

Thanks Armando. I agree, the no shield and the plain bolsters allow the clean flowing lines of the knife to show best. Nothing to distract the eye makes the knife "elegant", the word i use for beauty through simplicity.
I am going to look for one of these.
kj

A quick look shows how complex pattern # 15 is. Can't find any in smooth ivory bone but i did see that this Tidioute Jack with the Clip and Pen comes both as a Barehead (Armando's) and with caps (rear bolsters). I would have thought that caps would have been saved for the Northfield line.
Anyone know how many # 15 variations exist ? My guess is ~ 50.
