Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

All but two of these redbones are new to me. The Peanut is a 1940-1964 XX that was given to me in a bag of knives from an older gentlemen that knew I collected knives.

I've been looking for a Canal Street Cutlery Cannitler at a reasonable price for several months. Thanks to some help from a forum friend I managed to snag this one up.

Thanks OH. I really like it too. I think I read somewhere that Red Hill supplied the dyed bone for their own SFO's. I was getting exhausted looking for a Cannitler and I probably would have settled for any handle material but I'm really glad I had the chance at this one.

Love the Cannitler Rick!! Watch out, they're sharp!!

Thanks Trand. I haven't had a good chance to use the knife yet but it will be a user. I did shave some arm hair and I sliced some phone book paper with the blades and yep, you're right. They've got a great edge on them straight from the box.

^^^An amazing collection of 48s, Trand! Beautiful knives!

Trand - That is a beautiful group of 48's. I have a single in Natural Stag on the way :)

Thanks guys!! I'm sure you'll love it when it comes in. GEC's Natural Stag has been better than the Burnt Stag lately. Some really nice stuff!!

Rick, when I got my Cannitler, I was distracted just as I was opening one of the secondaries (before I got my GEC thumb), and I'm not sure how, but I sliced a little bit of skin of my left thumb knuckle. I've been careful ever since  That little coping blade also sliced some cardboard up just as easily.

I have 4 knives, purchased a different times, all converging to be delivered today. Should be a fun evening.
