I just got Smith & Sons Mudbug over the weekend. Fit and finish is excellent. The slim profile micarta handle is very nice. It made quick work of cutting shims for a home improvement project.

My kids bought this for me on their spring break vacation. Unfortunately I couldn't get off work to go along. This one jumped out at them when they were looking for a souvenir for dad.

Love those congress jacks. I was very put off by the pattern at first but once I started carrying it, I fell in love.

That long sheepsfoot blade is very useful. Too bad GEC never did an open stock run on that frame. It would look great in smooth ivory bone or maybe a nice abalone.

Crazy goodness with the like posts! A BladeForums miracle!

Size is about 3 5/8, those are the only two blades, and cover material is paper micarta I do believe.

Just ordered a sheepsfoot 15 in ebony and the knives for kids knife for my birthday boy today. The big 5! We are both excited!

Thanks! That is my Guild GAD jf30....bought it as a gift to myself after getting hired on with the fd 7 yrs ago....the back and sides are the same gorgeous flamed maple, the top is spruce.
