I really like the smooth bone of the Fremont. Was not sure how I would like the shape. I have a smooth bone Hawthorn that feels great in the hand. But the more I hold the Fremont the more I like it. I have a mammoth ivory Forest Jack coming this week so I'll see how they all match up. I do like the Northwoods brand a lot.

I got this Fremont Jack yesterday from a forum member. The pictures don't do it justice - color variation in the blue bone is sublime. Now I see why some folks own multiples of this guy. Details and finish on this knife are outstanding.
