Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

I just received this wonderful gift from Dan, all the way from France... Thank you, dantzk8 dantzk8
What makes it even more special is he knew I'd been searching for one for many years with no luck...So thoughtful!!!
I've always admired these knives. They are dead-simple and a solid work knife, useful in just about any situation. I'm so excite to have it.

What a great gift and a great knife to have John! Love those.

I got this as while ago, but the blade tip was poking me above the handle when closed. so new as in it was conditioned by Gary here to to shave off the tang a little so thee Point is lower closed now. Shout to Gary for taking time to make it a little more user friendly.664F8238-B130-456B-9D38-BC0E0BB02A00.jpeg

Got this one on another site, but just fits nice in the hand, the slabs are ivory g10 and are a little thin but the 3.5 inch blade of 8670 is flat ground and about 5/32, to be slicey and still strong. This is from another maker but i want another Kephart from Josh Fisher in a 4 inch blade in 8670, that will be a summer project in 8670. Gonna try this one out to test how I like 8670.958C0CCC-D8E3-4072-BFEC-AD263084D381.jpeg

Newest acquisition, this Case Copperhead in bone stag, mid ‘21 manufacture date.

First, I gotta say, it’s purty, but that’s why I bought it. Fit and finish is good overall, and the bone stag looks and feels great.

Notable positives: Blades are well centered, and have actual points (which is a huge change for me coming from Case) with razor sharp, even edges.

Notable nitpicks: There is some very minor gapping in the liners, but it’s negligible and even the length, but, frankly, expected from Case in my experience. Backsprings are a little softer than I prefer on both blades, pen blade is a 4 to 5, while the main clip is more like a 3 to 4, but I can live with it.

Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

I finally got a GEC made toothpick in stag. It's a Bulldog USA by way of J jsdistin ..... it's a really nicely made knife (GEC) with very nice stag... I'm thinking this one will see a lot of pocket time. My "American laguiole"...

That is really nice. I've been thinking for a while now that I want a good Toothpick in the collection. I might have to see if I can track one of those down...
