Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Boy that bone is great!
Agreed -- I think GEC did such a nice job with the Elderberry Jigged Bone!

I agree with you on the elderberry, and, if you're like me, it most definitely WILL see a lot of pocket time.... congratulations on your new Eureka!

At last....Case lge Stockman Ebony with worked bolsters...the ebony has that hint of brown...
Hen n Rooster "green" pick bone Stockman...not green so probably get dyed to a greener less bluey aqua tone..the main blade action is smooth at best...if I was more of a critic I would say weak...not what Ive come to expect from a German made knife....Still Im happy to have them in hand after ordering in November and fedex australia losing them in december...dealer replaced them ...I can not speak highly enough of timber that is not alive...

This one got to the Post Office on 1/29. I just picked it up this morning. A Victorinox Scientist. I've been looking for one of these ever since I became aware they existed. I have a couple of Waiters and Explorers that I intend to use as donor knives to make one, but haven't got around to it yet. And I've never disaasembled two knives to make one, so it remains to be seen how successful that endeavor will be. But I digress.

Its a little beat up. but all the parts are there and everything works. Even the ink pen. I think its been carried a lot, but used little. All the pretty ones I've found for sale were priced way beyond what I was willing to pay - hence the, thus far unrealized, Frankenstein Plan B.

I'm extremely pleased View attachment 1738771

I was in the same boat and ended up buying one somebody made. I don’t know why the ones I think would be popular aren’t made anymore? I’m guessing they were not great sellers and thats why they were discontinued.

Jon, I am not worthy! You are King Arthur reincarnated! All hail Excalibur times two! 😜👑🗡🗡

I recommend the movie Excalibur ...the breath of the dragon .. if a boy draws the sword then a boy shall be King...the King without a sword! The land without a King! etc etc...
Anyways.. my Merlin style bewitchment hath turned this vorpal (??) blade into one worthy of the Green Knight himself...ie proper green not sea anemone bler green...

Big improvement on the greening process you show later on. That firm is a really impressive outfit.

My Ukrainian got here. I've dipped the sheath in neats' foot oil and jammed the knife in for a bit of stretching/shaping. It's the sort of knife I might have said "eh, so what?" about, but it has a very good feel to it, and it's very sharp.
Is it just me, or is Imgur still down?DSCF3267.JPG

I just received this wonderful gift from Dan, all the way from France... Thank you, dantzk8 dantzk8
What makes it even more special is he knew I'd been searching for one for many years with no luck...So thoughtful!!!
I've always admired these knives. They are dead-simple and a solid work knife, useful in just about any situation. I'm so excite to have it.
