What with USPS being about as useful as a bucket of dead snails and the seagull scrabble that has become the default setting for GEC...it doesnt look like I'll be getting anything from the US until
A: covid goes away
B: the transport corridors harden TFU.
I dont want to sound mean ...but I had the virus in january...not even a sniffle...AND I drive a bus full of highschoolers twice a day....So whats the difference between that and a truckload of freight in terms of virus transmission...?grrrr rassen sassen crassen corassenvirus.
I have to make do with Aussie ebay fodder to tide me over.

I have been told that USPS does not look like relaxing it's postal policy { Or Non Postal Policy } to Australia into the near future. Makes it hard for us, i tried to get some sharpening stuff, the company, which are fantastic to deal with, said sorry we can't help you. And by the time the rules are relaxed, what i want will be sold out. Murphy's Law. I had covid in mid January, i've had worse hangovers. You have a good and safe Easter.

After I gave my Brisa Elver to the son of a friend as a gift I have missed something in the same size, 85-90 mm blade. I finally decided to get this, Casström Woodsman. It has a 88 mm blade, Sleipner steel that is close to D2. It is a tool steel, not stainless. The handle is very comfy and well rounded. This is a serious bushcraft knife. The sheath is simple but well made of thick leather. Can't wait for the snow to melt and paths to open for wandering in the forests.

On the left is an Alan Davis custom slip joint with a Vegas forge carbon raindrop Damascus blade and Himalayan ram’s horn scales. On the right is a Benchmade Gold Class "Proper" slip joint with burgundy/black micarta scales, Mokume Gane bolsters, and a Damasteel blade. For those who care, the watch is a Seagull1963 mechanical chronometer, a reissue of a Chinese military watch.
