"Real Japanese garden knife" made in China. It's nice and heavy and sharp, though.
Thank you!Nice!
I must resist the temptation to buy another one... but it's so beautiful.

Since I've already owned one, I can attest to that fact.It is handier than I thought it might be.
Go ahead and do it please! Will it be difficult what with potential cracks around the pivot?? But looking forward to seeing it in new clothes.Liberated this Sod Buster Jr from the display case in my local hardware store where it had been held captive since 2019. This was a total impulse buy. I'm so glad the knife case is not near the cash register, or I'd really have a problem.
I'm thinking of rehandling this with some bloodwood I have laying around.

I haven't worked with Bloodwood before, but from what I do know it is pretty hard, durable stuff. It's definitely harder and heavier than the Black Walnut and Oak that I use frequently. I'll post pics when it's done, probably sometime next month.Go ahead and do it please! Will it be difficult what with potential cracks around the pivot?? But looking forward to seeing it in new clothes.
Thanks, Will
