Beautiful, I’ve been eyeing one of those myself. Any thoughts you want to share on it so far?

This one just made it to me from overseas.

It's a Solingen made Boker barlow featuring desert ironwood covers, n690 stainless steel, and copper liners, bolster, and pins. I have another version of this on the way that features damascus steel made from the salvaged parts of an M4 Sherman tank.

And as if the copper liners/bolsters/pins weren't cool enough... the bolster is integral!!! The bolsters are one piece with the liners, milled from a single copper block. Too cool.

I have been waiting to see one of these in the wild. Looks amazing. I can't wait to get my hands on one!

I am very pleased. Fit and finish is very nice of course. Pulls are around a 7 on all three blades which is about perfect to me.

Beautiful... Nobody does jigged bone and coloring like the Case/Bose knives. 🤠

Agreed, John. I know they’re pricey, but it’s still cheaper than what people are paying for many GECs. I love GECs but you aren’t getting this level of quality.

Beautiful.

I'm waiting for these to hit the States.
Gorgeous Brian. Can’t wait for my Micarta to arrive. The ironwood is fantastic and looks great with the copper. 😎👍
Very nice... The wood grain is amazing, and look at those perfectly finished pins. 🤠

X 3. Love the copper bolster and the DI looks nice. This will probably move to the top of my 'want' list.

I really just can't say enough good things about the barlows Boker has been releasing these past few years. The prices are starting to creep up there, but I still think there is a ton of value to be found with the knives. I also love that Boker isn't afraid to try some new things with the pattern. The knives with the Micarta integral bolsters were really cool, but not quite my style. These barlows with copper and steel integral bolsters have me completely over the moon though... Not to mention blades made out of Sherman tank parts... /drool.

I never would have guessed that Boker would become one of my favorite producers of traditional knives... And particularly surprised that they happen to make my all-time favorite barlow patterns.

P.S.
JohnDF JohnDF I think I'm going to have to finally concur with you. Barlows do look better without shields!
